National Puerto Rican Day Parade

Fendi opened its fabulous new Pop-Up store in Soho last night at 104 Greene Street. The collection unveiled was absolutely stunning, as well as the clientele.

These boots are straight out of a surrealist work by Magritte or Dali, paired with Basquiat's street sensibility. The pieces are true works of art inspired by the world of contemporary art and modern surrealism.

It was great to learn so much on the history of the site and its development - once an area of urban blight, dominated by a pungent slaughterhouse - which now boasts the most stunning property in all of Manhattan.
