Believe it or not, it's almost time for the highly-anticipated 2019 Lexus models to arrive soon. There are plenty of rumors and speculation swirling around about these new models, but Car Leasing Concierge has some concrete information on one of them: the 2019 LEXUS UX. "UX" stands for Urban Explorer, and the 2019 Lexus UX will be a new luxury crossover SUV that promises "a fresh, contemporary, and dynamic take on luxury driving."
The 2019 Lexus UX will come in two different variations: the Lexus UX 200 and the Lexus UX 250h. The UX 200 will have a four-cylinder gasoline engine, while the Lexus UX 250h will be a gas-electric hybrid. Each will be offered in both standard and F Sport trim levels. The gasoline engine will crank out 168 horsepower, and the hybrid engine uses nickel-metal hydride battery technology. Drivers can choose an optional all-wheel-drive system on the Lexus UX 250h version.
Lexus engineers created three exciting new technologies -- Predictive Efficient Drive, Predictive Deceleration Support, and Predictive State of Charge -- on the hybrid version. These tech features are bundled with the navigation system and optimize the vehicle's drive system by learning and adapting to the driver's typical habits and routes.
Standard safety features on the upcoming 2019 Lexus UX will include a forward collision warning system with pedestrian and cyclist detection and a forward automatic emergency braking system. You can also add on Lane Tracing Assist, automatic high-beam headlights, and adaptive cruise control.
